Waste Warrior
As a Madison Square Park Waste Warrior, you will join our team to improve recycling and composting efforts and educate community members on best practices for reducing waste. To inquire, email volunteer@madisonsquarepark.org with the subject line “Waste Volunteer” and include:
- A brief letter including your interests and past experience
- Availability to volunteer
Horticulture Volunteer
As a Madison Square Park Horticulture Volunteer, you will support our team of world class Horticulture experts to help keep our Nationally Accredited Level II Arboretum a thriving green oasis of beauty and serenity. There are many other ways to make a lasting contribution to our park, from lending a hand as a volunteer, to dedicating a park bench to someone you love.
Bench Dedications
Celebrate a milestone or honor a loved one with a bench dedication. Choose a bench in a meaningful location in the park and personalize it with a heartfelt message. It’s an unforgettable way to support the park you both love.

Dedicate a Flower
Madison Square Park blooms year-round with tens of thousands of vivid flowers. With a tax-deductible donation, you can dedicate flowers in the park in honor of a loved one.
Tree Fund
Parks and their trees mark the seasons and the decades. As stewards of the park, we know that beyond the soil, sun, water, and air, trees need well-planned placement and nurturing in order to survive in city parks. Support our trees––your contribution will help keep our canopy vibrant and welcoming for years to come.
Gifts of Stock
Gifts of any amount of appreciated stock are a tax-deductible way to help in the maintenance and upkeep of your park.
