Wildlife Walk

Wildlife Walk

October 20, 2022
12 - 1 PM
Kousa Dogwood Black Throated Blue Warbler

Gabriel Willow returns to Madison Square Park to lead the final Wildlife Walk of the year. Join him on this tour of the park as we approach the end of the fall bird migration season.

Gabriel is an environmental educator and ecological tour guide in NYC, where he leads tours and teaches classes for NYC Audubon and Wave Hill. His tours range from boat trips on the East River to kayaking on Newtown Creek to seeking the elusive peregrine falcons nesting on skyscrapers near Wall Street. He is also an artist, illustrator, DJ, and Vice-President of the Linnaean Society of NY.

Tours are open to people of all ages. Gabriel will point out the overlooked and ignored elements of wildness hiding in the park, so we invite you to bring your binoculars. We’ll be meeting at the south entrance of the Oval Lawn, near the fountain.

Thank you to Amazon and The New York EDITION for their support of our Sustainability programming.
