This City of Forest Day, celebrate Madison Square Park, Manhattan’s only accredited arboretum.

This annual event is a citywide celebration of the city’s urban forest, which is made up of public parks, street trees, community gardens, and woodlands. Presented by Forest for All NYC in partnership with the Parks and Open Space Partners – NYC Coalition and NYC Parks.

Stop by the Reflecting Pool on the north side of the park to grab an arboretum map, participate in a scavenger hunt, or take a coloring page. Guided tours of the Arboretum by a member of the Horticulture team will start at 11AM and 1PM.
