Looking for a fun way to spend a fall day while preparing the park for winter?

Come volunteer with our team to rake fallen leaves that will be chipped and distributed in garden beds. Collected leaves provide safe winter habitats for park wildlife, and ensure the park’s gardens and lawns will thrive when warmer weather returns. 

You will also have a chance to learn about why it’s important to “leave the leaves,” and take part in a scavenger hunt to discover all of the creatures that live within the leaves all winter long.
