Join us for the 2021 City Nature Challenge in Madison Square Park. This international event brings communities together to gather observations of wildlife.

Help us uncover the most species to compete against over 300 cities around the world, as well as green spaces throughout New York City.

From April 30 – May 3, visit the park and take photos of birds, plants, insects, and any wildlife you see and share your findings using the iNaturalist app. Each observation made in our park helps keep Madison Square Park green.
