124th Annual Audubon Christmas Bird Count
Want to help scientists better study birds in our neighborhood? Join experienced ornithologists and casual enthusiasts for the 124th annual Audubon Christmas Bird Count, the longest-running in the nation, here in Madison Square Park.
The Christmas Bird Count is a fun tradition where birders spend the morning searching for and counting all birds we can find in the area. It’s a great way to learn more about all the wonderful birds that live in NYC while helping scientists study the long-term health and status of these populations across North America.
The walk through Madison Square Park will be an accessible “slow walk” count. Learn more and register by clicking the link here or add to your calendar using the button below.
