Art Council: “A Rose Is” at Flag Foundation

MSPC invites members of the Art Council to a curator-led tour of A Rose Is at the FLAG Art Foundation on April 22 at 5:30 PM. Through a variety of media, A Rose Is examines the dynamic symbolism and cultural significance of the rose across art history.
After the tour, MSPC will host a reception at Bottino, where members will have the opportunity to learn more about Madison Square Park’s rose collection from Stephanie Lucas, Director of Horticulture and Park Operations, and Gabriela Chrysostomou, Horticulture Manager.
Coupled with the exhibition tour, this engaging talk from our horticulture team will offer deeper insights into the roses that have inspired both enthusiasts of art and nature alike.
