Longtime Conservancy Trustee and Neighbor: Leslie Spira Lopez
This year’s gala will honor someone very important to all of us at Madison Square Park Conservancy. Leslie Spira Lopez has been a pillar of the NoMad neighborhood for years. As a longtime Conservancy Trustee and neighbor, she has enriched Madison Square Park with her insight, guidance, and drive. Leslie currently serves as the president and CEO of Kew Management, a real estate management firm that holds a portfolio of buildings concentrated in NoMad (North of Madison Square Park). She has held this position since 2001, the same year she began her involvement with the park, and has been instrumental in making our neighborhood the special place it is today.
“The park is a hidden gem that is the anchor of our community. There is so much to love about Madison Square Park, it’s hard to choose a favorite aspect. Whether you stumble upon it, or go there as a destination, entering the park takes you to another place. It is a magical 6.2 acres of Manhattan that has transformed its surroundings since being revitalized by the Conservancy 20 years ago.” says Lopez.
We are thrilled to honor someone who cares so deeply for our community. Please join us in recognizing Leslie’s dedication to our park and our neighborhood by purchasing tickets to Party in the Park here.
