Madison Square Park Conservancy is responsible for the maintenance of the park’s lawns which are in the process of spring reseeding. While the grass is establishing now, visitors should expect the majority of lawns to be ready for use in late May.  Lawns are open daily for public use starting at 10 AM through 5 PM, weather permitting. Lawns are closed on Parade Days.  Learn more about park hours and rules by visiting our FAQ page.

Party in the Park is Madison Square Park Conservancy’s annual fundraiser. The event gathers friends and neighbors for an evening under the stars and honors our community members, longstanding supporters, and beloved artists. We are excited to announce that we will be celebrating this year with some of the top chefs in the world.

It’s no secret: Flatiron NoMad is home to some of NYC’s best restaurants! Party in the Park allows us to enjoy the benefits of being located in such a food destination, offering a unique dining experience from three renowned chefs who call the park their backyard.

Chef Mark Strausman of Mark’s Off Madison, Chef Michael Berardino of La Pecora Bianca, and Chef John Doherty of BLACKBARN Restaurant will be curating a fantastic menu at this year’s gala. We are honored to have them at Party in the Park and hope you will join us to enjoy some of the best cuisine our city has to offer.

Click here to purchase tickets today and support your favorite city park. Bon Appétit!

All proceeds from the event will help sustain the Conservancy’s mission to steward Madison Square Park as a clean and green oasis for our community.
