Madison Square Park Conservancy is responsible for the maintenance of the park’s lawns which are in the process of spring reseeding. While the grass is establishing now, visitors should expect the majority of lawns to be ready for use in late May.  Lawns are open daily for public use starting at 10 AM through 5 PM, weather permitting. Lawns are closed on Parade Days.  Learn more about park hours and rules by visiting our FAQ page.

Throughout the year, Madison Square Park will be highlighting some of our amazing Associate Board Members. Their contributions and work as park ambassadors help to ensure that the park remains clean, green, beautiful, and appreciated all year long.

Today we are featuring Darya Goldstein, a frequent patron of Madison Square Park and an Associate Board Member since 2015. Here’s some more about Darya, in her own words:

Hi, I’m Darya Goldstein! Madison Square Park is like home to my family, and we know the neighborhood inside and out. My kids have grown up and taken their first steps in the park. My husband Rob and I even manage to sneak in date nights at the park’s Gala and the art openings. The art is truly inspiring and accessible for everyone to experience! But we enjoy all of the programming that the park features—especially all of the new food vendors!

I am a Licensed Real Estate Salesperson with Compass, and I love working with buyers and sellers—especially in our community. My expertise and joy is in helping young families find the perfect home where they can grow and thrive. Leaning on my experience and resources, as well as professional financial background, I take pride in making the buying and selling process smooth and stress-free.

One fun fact about me: In addition to enjoying the playground and hanging at the dog run, we are regulars at The Ice Cream Truck. What better way is there to cool off on a hot city day?
