September 4 -7 | Southern Gravel and Oval Lawn (Women’s Semifinals)

From September 4 through 7, join friends and neighbors to watch live match screenings, enjoy free ping-pong tables, and soak in the energy of New York’s favorite tennis tradition, presented by the City of New York and IBM.

Here’s what you can look forward to:

  • September 4 | 11 AM – The Paddle Royale on the West Gravel

We kick things off with an epic table tennis showdown between two of our community’s elected officials, Assembly Member Harvey Epstein and Councilmember Erik Bottcher.

  • September 4 | 7 PM – Women’s Semifinals on the Oval Lawn

Grab a blanket and picnic and join us for the Women’s Tennis Semifinals on the Oval Lawn. Be sure to wear your tennis whites for your chance to win a gift for being the best dressed fan!

  • All Weekend Long – Free AI Ping-Pong Tables on the West Gravel

Challenge your friends to a match on one of four free AI ping-pong tables on the West Gravel, courtesy of IBM. There won’t be any wrong calls with this technology tracking your game!

Don’t miss this unique chance to enjoy the US Open in the heart of NYC. Bring your friends and show your love for the game. Free and open to all; seating and access to the table tennis tables are first-come, first-served.
