The Future of the Urban Jungle: Creating a Resilient Workforce (Day 2: In-Person)
Gardens are dynamic spaces that improve our mental and physical health, provide beauty, build ecosystems, increase the value of our communities, and grace us with endless environmental benefits. Without dedicated stewards, these spaces lack the care they desperately need in order to thrive.
Join us for the second day of our annual horticulture symposium, The Future of the Urban Jungle: Creating a Resilient Workforce, at 11 Madison Avenue. Programming will be centered around growing our green community to become more resilient, diverse, and mindful.
The day’s discussions will include:
- Making an Impact! A Toolkit for Advancing Employee Development in Public Gardens
- The Fourth Wave Therapy
- featuring Brynn Wallace, The Fourth Wave Therapy
- United with Purpose: IDEA town hall
- featuring Mae Lin Plummer, IDEA Center for Public Gardens
This event offers participants the following CEU credits: 3.5 ISA Credits (ISA Arborist, BCMA Management, Municipal Specialist).
Program is free and open to all, but space is limited. Please note the venue space requires proof of the COVID-19 vaccination and to fill out a attestation form upon arrival.
Registration for the symposium is now closed. If you have any questions please email, Tasha Naula – Public Programs Associate, at tnaula@madisonsquarepark.org.
