Join scientists and staff from the Simons Foundation in the park to take a closer look at the sun.

Weather permitting, scientists will be in the park to answer and discuss anything and everything revolving around the sun and astronomy. Telescopes will be set up for park-goers to look through, including a LightSound demonstration that translates light from the sun into sound, making sungazing accessible to visitors with low or impaired vision and anyone else interested in this unique experience

This activity will take place on the Southern Fountain. Free and open to the public, no tickets are required. We encourage registration to receive event updates.
