Letters to the Trees 2023

8

Celebrate Arbor Day by thanking the park’s trees for all that they do. As an accredited, Level II Arboretum Madison Square Park has over 300 trees and a rich diversity of species to enjoy. Show your love for any tree in the park by writing a handwritten letter, composing a poem, or creating a drawing. Place your completed letter in one of the dropboxes located throughout the park, or post your letter on Instagram and tag @madsqparknyc.

Dropboxes featuring our arboretum map are located on each lawn and will remain there for the entire week, April 17 – April 30.

Can’t make it to the park to drop off your letter? You can still write a letter and drop it off in our virtual dropbox.
