Letters to the Trees
Trees are vital elements of our park. They clean our air, filter our water, shade us from the sun, and provide shelter for our wildlife. But they are also incredible natural landmarks that grace the park with their beauty and put our minds at ease.
Madison Square Park is home to over 300 trees, and from April 15–May 2 you can join us in thanking them with letters, poems, and drawings. Look for dropboxes in the park throughout the program where you can drop your written messages, or share them on Instagram and tag @madsqparknyc.
