Flatiron/NoMad E-Waste Recycling Day

In partnership with the Lower East Side Ecology Center (LESEC) and The Flatiron NoMad Partnership, be a part of this green initiative during Earth Month! During E-Waste Recycling Day, hear from the LESEC’s Curbside Composting Building and Resident Support program, designed to help residential buildings meet the requirements of the city’s mandatory composting initiative.

Accepted items include working & non-working computers, monitors, printers/scanners, keyboards, mice, cables, TVs, VCRs & DVD players, phones, audio/visual equipment, cell phones & PDAs.

Not accepted items include batteries (except lead-acid batteries from UPS ‘uninterrupted power supplies systems’), media such as disks, DVDs, VHS taps, or cassette tapes. Please visit greendisk.com to purchase a shipping label to get these items recycled.
