Art Talk with Kevork Mourad
Join us for a free Art Talk in conjunction with Cristina Iglesias’s Landscape and Memory, on view through December 4.
Kevork Mourad (Syrian, b. 1970) unites drawing and print-based techniques rooted in the artist’s training as a printmaker to create sculpture, installation, and collaborative performance works with choreographers, composers, and writers. By considering the relationship between his work and architecture and antiquity, Mourad will draw parallels between his and Iglesais’s practices during this Art Talk.
This informal presentation will be held outdoors on the Oval Lawn. Following the presentation, parkgoers will have the opportunity to be in dialogue with the artist.
