Spring Hort Guide
The Conservancy is incorporating five perennial collections into its
permanent display beds. Witch hazels, daffodils, redbuds, hydrangeas, and camellias have been chosen as signature collections, representing four seasons of bloom. As an American Public Garden, the Conservancy will seek accreditation for these collections through national organizations that celebrate plant excellence, conservation, and research. The Park features more than 40 varieties of daffodils and one of the most comprehensive redbud collections in New York, comprising 35 distinct varieties.
