Join the fun with CLIF Kid Backyard Game of the Year Playoffs at Fall Kids Fest on October 15!

CLIF Kid, maker of organic snacks for active kids, asked children across the country to reconnect with outdoor play by inventing their own creative backyard games and entering the Backyard Game of the Year Contest. The Playoffs will present the contest’s five finalists games (Alligator Tail, Eagle’s Nest, Hoop Ball, Nature to Nature, and Sponge Ball Fill-up), which inspire kids to live more active lives and provide them with an opportunity to explore their imaginations.

Kids are invited to play these games for free at this year’s Fall Kids Fest on October 15, starting at 11am. The recommended age for children participating in the games is 5-12, and there will be a magician performing tricks and music for the younger tots.

A panel of judges will choose the grand prize winning game, which will be repurposed and donated to the Children & Nature Network, a national non-profit organization doing amazing work to help reconnect kids to nature. The grand prize winner will receive a $10,000 educational scholarship and the four runners-up will each win a $1,000 educational scholarship. All finalists will also receive a Trek bike and Bell Helmet to enjoy outdoors.
