Today was such an exciting morning with Recess Monkey. This awesome Seattle-based band got us up and moving even in the gloomy weather and soon made us forget all our troubles as we danced, clapped and cheered during their interactive concert. Some of our favorite songs of the morning were “Roller Coaster,” “Popcorn,” and “Monkey Bars”. They got us to even form a conga line of “Monkey Bar” climbers all along the reflecting pool. With the sun peeking out to greet us at the end of the show, Recess Monkey closed the performance with their dance classic, “Moon Boots.”
