Fall Kids Fest 2012 Press Release

FREE OUTDOOR FUN FOR CHILDREN AT MADISON SQUARE PARK ON OCTOBER 13TH

JOIN US IN CELEBRATING THE CONSERVANCY’S 10-YEAR ANNIVERSARY!

Madison Square Park Conservancy announces Fall Kids Fest 2012, presented by World Class Learning Academy, NY, and Time Out Kids, a day of free outdoor fall-festive fun for children taking place on October 13 from 11am to 2pm. Join us in celebrating the Conservancy’s 10-year anniversary with your young ones throughout the fall foliage of Madison Square Park while enjoying live music, arts and crafts, face painting, snacks, and much more! Big-kid hearts and kindie fans can enjoy live performances by groovy faves The Pop Ups, KBC Kids and Songs for Seeds, a special performance of Bunnicula: A Rabbit Tale of Musical Mystery, march around the park in a costume parade led by a Big Apple Circus clown, pick a perfect pumpkin from the patch to decorate and take home and create arts and crafts with the Rubin Museum of Art, The Museum of Mathematics and Appleseeds. Plus tasty snacks from The Treats Truck, Pirate’s Booty, Hurds Family Farm, refreshments from Poland Spring, face painting, and much more!

Fall Kids Fest 2012 takes place at Madison Square Park, rain or shine, at 23rd Street between Madison Avenue and Fifth Avenues. This free event is presented by World Class Learning Academy, NY, an international school for children ages 2-11, and Time Out Kids and sponsored by New York Life, Appleseeds, Marimekko, UrbanSitter, Plum Organics, Deer Mountain Day Camp, Hill Country Chicken, Rubin Museum of Art, The Museum of Mathematics, The Little Orchestra Society, Big Apple Circus, DiMenna Children’s History Museum, The Treats Truck, Hurds Family Farm, Poland Spring and Pirate’s Booty.
